Growing a flower: how to plant it correctly in the ground
The bush is planted in the spring, somewhere in the middle of April. In this case, the seedling is processed with potassium permanganate infusion and growth stimulants. Special fertilizers for roses are placed in the dug hole.
The hole should be about half a meter (the roots in the hole should be free). Drainage is placed at the bottom. Then the soil is mixed with organic matter.
At the end, the bush is covered with earth, tamped and watered.
The beauty and bloom of a rose largely depends on the place of planting. A well-lit sunny area is what the variety needs. Drafts, gusts of wind and excess moisture are the enemies of the plant. Therefore, it is better to plant it near the walls of the house.
The soil that is most suitable is slightly acidic. The designated place must be saturated with useful substances in advance by adding humus or cow dung.
Plant care
This process requires a systematic approach. Drying out of the soil negatively affects the general condition of the bush. But waterlogging is also not beneficial, as it can lead to fungal diseases.Abundant watering is recommended in summer, the rate is 1 time per week. In spring and autumn, watering should be done less often - once every 2 weeks.
For good flowering, all crops require normal and high-quality feeding. Complex mineral fertilizers will saturate the soil and plant roots with useful and nutritious substances. Top dressing is carried out in the spring: the first is nitrogen, the second is potash. Then fertilizers need to be applied after the buds appear and the first flowering. In the summer, you need to take mineral and organic complexes, in the fall - phosphorus and potash fertilizers.
Pruning
By removing old shoots, you can achieve a decorative look of the bush. But the main function of the procedure is to maintain health, as over time, the rose bushes thicken. Pruning prevents fungal infections. The procedure is carried out in spring and summer. It must be carried out with a sharp pruner.
Preparing for winter
Wintering a flower is a difficult period, the plant needs to be prepared. So what needs to be done:
- Cut off the shoots, leaving 10 cm. Sprinkle the slices with ash for disinfection.
- Huddle the shrub by sprinkling dry leaves on top or covering with spruce branches. It is prohibited to use sawdust, hay, straw. They will accumulate excess moisture and lead to decay.
How the Purple rose blooms
Rose Big Purple blooms almost all summer. Unfortunately, its flowering begins to fade away by the end of August.
Care
If you take good care of the bush, you can grow a gorgeous plant that will delight everyone with its rich colors and wonderful aroma. Flower care during flowering is as follows:

- mulching the soil with straw or hay. Thanks to this, you can protect the bush from weed growth. In addition, such actions maintain water balance;
- weeding;
- high-quality feeding. Fertilizers are added during the summer, about once every 15 days;
- removal of dried buds.
Reproduction
The flower is propagated by cuttings. The cut shoot should be 15 cm long and have several healthy buds. The planted process should be covered with a glass container and placed in a warm, bright place. The plant should be watered periodically. A month later, leaves should appear on the branch.
