Throughout the season, you will have to inspect all landings from time to time and pinch them.
Why dahlias do not bloom well
To make the buds appear again and again, the perennial needs to be fed on time. Usually fertilizers are applied in 3 stages at equal intervals: immediately after planting, in early summer and mid-July. A larger amount is not required, since it is possible to provoke an increase in green mass to the detriment of flowering. The first time, humus or mullein is applied, and the next 2 times - a complex mineral fertilizer for flowering.
What needs to be done to make flowers bloom faster
You can speed up the moment of blooming of the first buds by forcing. 1 month before the intended planting in open ground, tubers should be removed from a cool storage. Work should start in April. Root crops are sprinkled with coconut substrate or sawdust mixed with peat and sand. Water a little. Can be placed on a windowsill or in a greenhouse.
With the appearance of sprouts, the tubers are planted in individual pots. Until planting in open ground, they are watered from time to time, keeping the substrate slightly moist.
