The Annabelle variety is one of the oldest. It was taken out in the 18th century. The homeland of the bush is the United States of America. However, from there this culture spread throughout the world in just a few decades.
Features of the variety
In inflorescences of a spherical shape, there are a large number of flowers - more than that of standard representatives of the culture. Flowering begins in early spring and can last until November. Strong Annabelle's petals are white, but there are plants with red, lilac and pink flowers. The bush itself is quite compact - its height does not exceed three meters.

The stalk must be immersed in a growth stimulator, and then rooted in a container filled with peat.

The greatest danger to hydrangeas is from snails and slugs. You can get rid of them both manually and with the help of the "Molluscicide" preparation. The plant and spider mites attack. In order to preserve the hydrangea, insects should be removed, and all affected areas should be treated with an insecticide.

The Strong Annabelle hydrangea is truly versatile: they look great as an accent on the lawn, they look good in group plantings. Its combination with conifers, ornamental grasses, pelargoniums is especially effective.
