The solution is poured into a spray bottle, the entire aerial part is sprayed, not just the affected areas

Attention! Water for preparation of the product should be about +25 ° C.

For root application

When watering at the root, the dosage is the same: 4 g per 5 liters of water (one sachet). If this is a lot, then the powder can be poured onto a sheet of paper and divided into 4 parts. Dilute one dose in 1.25 l of water. 1 liter of the product is enough for about 1 sq. M. Aktara in liquid form is diluted in the amount of 1 ampoule per 0.75 l.

Orchid treatment with Aktara

Often, mealybugs start on indoor orchids, against which Aktara is effective. Before using the drug, it is necessary to make preparatory measures:

  • protect the infected flower from other indoor plants;
  • for prevention, treat with fungicides (drugs for various diseases);
  • cut off and burn the affected areas (with the exception of young shoots, which are necessary for the development of the plant);
  • remove insects living in the core with tweezers;
  • inspect aerial roots for pests. If present, remove insects by hand. Transplant the bush to another pot with new soil;
  • treat the aboveground part with alcohol, soap solution (not necessary, but recommended for quick disposal of the pest).

Aktara for orchids: how to apply
